Made from Durum wheat or semolina spaghetti is better known for it's role in spaghetti bolognaise, although it can be used in a huge variety of dishes.
The Spaghetti Squash is an entirely different food. It is a fruit that is eaten at best when it is about 10 inches long and 5 inches round. It can be baked or boiled and when cooked it can be cut in half to remove the seeds. Using a fork, pull it through the flesh and the result looks similar to spaghetti, hence it's name.
