Sushi

Sushi can come in all shapes and sizes with a variety of ingredients. Sushi is most commonly raw or cooked fish and cold short grain rice formed into small shapes held together with pressed dried seaweed.

There are many variations using a vast selection of ingredients and flavorings. Sushi is low in fat with good sources of protein carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. To cut down on the carbohydrates, try Sashimi which is thinly cut up pieces of raw fish without the rice.
